July 13, 2004 -- Heritage Antiques is pleased to announce the opening of Charlotte’s most distinctive antique store in the beautiful Myer’s Park neighborhood of Charlotte. Heritage Antiques was founded by Linda and Joe Webster to serve the needs of customers looking for fine antiques, art and accessories offered with exceptional care and outstanding service. After living and working in Europe for several years, the Websters relocated to Charlotte and decided to establish Heritage Antiques in order to offer a new, distinctive mix of French, English, and European antiques and accessories which are not likely to be found anywhere else in the area. They are able to offer this unique and beautiful assortment of pieces through the strong network of high quality antiques and art sources they developed while living and working in Europe.
Heritage Antiques offers fine antique furniture, paintings, mirrors, lighting, garden antiques and decorative accessories from France, England and other countries. Linda and Joe travel to Europe several times each year to personally search for and select the most beautiful, decorative, and unique antiques and accessories, which they import to their store in Charlotte. They are also pleased to find special requests for their customers while on their buying trips.
“Our antiques and decorative accessories are beautiful and unique. Joe and I spent several years in Europe where we were able to personally visit with numerous high quality wholesale sources of antique furniture, paintings, mirrors, garden antiques, and related decorative accessories. We developed strong relationships and friendships with our sources in Europe which allows us to have access to the most beautiful and unique pieces that they have available. It is very unlikely that antique lovers and interior designers will find the types of pieces and one-of-a-kind items we offer anywhere else in the Charlotte area. We specifically sought out beautiful items that we had not seen at other antique stores in the area, in order to offer our clients attractive, unique pieces and beautiful decorative items that would compliment the wonderful selection of antiques already available in the area. We are also very happy to find specific requests for our clients while on one of our frequent trips to Europe” states Linda Webster.
Heritage Antiques is located at the recently renovated Selwyn Corners shopping center, 2823 Selwyn Avenue, Suite K, at the intersection of Colony Road and Selwyn Avenue in the Myers Park neighborhood of Charlotte. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or by appointment. Heritage Antiques’ telephone number is 704.334.1300, and their web site is located at www.heritageantiques.us.
